Extreme Broadband’s exclusive data port stabilization technology includes a completely solid-state circuit with proprietary impedance compensation at the input of the amplifier. This technology enables the continuation of modem service regardless of the incoming power condition while maintaining unimpeded input return loss, allowing CATV customers to maintain Internet and phone service during power failures.
In contrast to switched-bypass or switched-impedance compensation circuits, Extreme Broadband employs a solid-state circuit in the passive data port of the company’s amplifier products. Solid state circuits are especially reliable because they have no moving parts that can be disrupted by power interruptions or break down over time.
In addition, the blue port and label make the Extreme Broadband passive data port easy to identify and simple to install.
Data stabilization is available on most Extreme Broadband Infinity Premise Amplifier models. Visit the Extreme Broadband library for product applications and specification sheets.
